Partners is a national effort with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in collaboration with the National Insitutes of Health. Technical support is provided by the University of Illinois, Chicago. The "Partners with Tobacco Use Research Centers" (Partners) and the "Transdisciplinary Tobacco Use Research Centers" (TTURC) programs are a collaborative effort to study new ways of combating tobacco use and nicotine addiction, and to help translate the results and implications of this work for policy makers, practitioners, and the public.
